Everyone knows David Linch as director, painter and musician. This exposition at Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP), that allowed him to do what he wanted , revealed him as photographer. The famous artist shows his Small Stories, about forty unusual photo in black and white. Dreamlike images, disturbing, inhabited … in which the visitor will find the recurring patterns of David Lynch universe.
For these Small Stories, director of Blue Velvet joined the dark side of the force with photographs that combines innocence and depravity on faceless heads, bodies of women and unusual objects. The visitor finds himself thrust into a disturbing world without benchmarks.
